There are several ways to make a donation:

Make a sustainable contribution to SCI by writing a check made out to Silver Creek Institute and sending it to the address below.  As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit your donation is fully tax deductible and will be put to excellent use.

Use SCI’s experienced design and installation staff to install a renewable energy system at your home or business.  A portion of the system cost supports SCI’s ongoing renewable energy education efforts.  Call 218-834-4746 to arrange a consultation.

Not able or ready to install your own system, but still want to “do something”?  Donate using SCI’s “Green Tags” program!  Essentially, “Green Tags” are a way for individuals to offset the tons of CO2 they release into the atmosphere each year.  There are several website calculators, such as EPA’s Power Profiler, that calculate emissions based on personal patterns of fossil fuel consumption such as kilowatt hours of electricity used, miles driven, and/or the btus of natural gas burned during the past year.  Once emissions are calculated, “Green Tags” can then be purchased directly from SCI for $10/ton.  We’ll then put your “Green Tag” dollars to work by installing renewable energy systems at area schools and other public facilities.
